So how do you get started! Its simple you just need some paper ,pencils and subject matter. What are you passionate about! This is a good place to get started,do you like to walk in the park ,the beach ,the city, do you people watch? You are surrounded by inspiration you just have to LOOK.Next time you have a few minutes take a look around you, sit down and start drawing ,it probably won’t look like it but you need to understand that art is the viewers point of view ,so it is not important that we know what your intention was, just that you made the effect to record it, as that is what ART IS.ENJOY !!!!!

Sail Away
At the moment, I have a student exhibition at my gallery - my first students have completed a 12 week class in materials and techniques. The exhibition will be available to view for two weeks so visit my website www.manciniartgallery.com.au for opening hours and details about my classes.
I presently sell my artwork at my gallery “Mancini Art” in Deagon, Queensland; ”Seaside Artists Gallery” at Redcliffe, Queensland and at “The Manly Gallery” at Manly, Queensland.
I have recently joined a group “Artists Afloat” to showcase our artwork as we hope to bring art to a greater audience and an awareness of our enviroment.
I believe we can all make a difference in the world in some small way so next time you go to throw out that bit of paper, maybe turn it over and create a masterpiece, we can draw and paint on just about anything! So let’s look at making a start and get into art!
